Alright. my last post to close up my life chapter on SRJC.
I didnt think of joining canoeing wen i first entered SR. infact i didnt even know wat to join. I guess from the partial influence of my 2 OGLs who are both canoeist and the fact that i love seasports i was drawn into the cca. furthermore, its something new rite? haha.
First few trainings were tedious. i almost died. but now wen you turn back and look at it, you have that sense of achievement. 340 crunches, 15 pull ups. 90 push ups. cool eh?? But it was'nt all about the physical training la. the paddling part was even more fun.
First we did the T2 ( 2 ppl boat) then i did the T1 ( one person boat) then later towards the end of the month i tried the K boats. (the one with a triangle base) its hard to balance. i didnt capsize. haha. cos there was captain infront. heh. rite rite? (so if you read this next time pumping i -50 k? =P) then after the K boats i tried another type of boat, they call it mos ( short form of mosquitoe). yea that boat is even tougher. but again i didnt capsize. wahah! so now dunno if its was me who is pro or becasue of the senior infront. haha. OKay. Then there came the time wen i finally capsized. i was doing the k boat with deb and in less then 5secs we caped. haha! okay.. so i'm not that pro after all...
Friendships blossomed. my canoeing mates> Calsia, grace, deb, grace, jonathan, richard (mr 0.1 tonne), amanda, wee beng. my seniors> captain, brian, andrea, jerome, darren, jeremy, caroline, charlene and so many more...
PICTURE TIME !!!
Oh well, watever will be, will be. all things have to come to an end rite. so. thanx to everyone for giving me beautiful memories of my first 1 month in SRJC. i love you guys. =)
