PHEW. a sigh of relief. finally, its over...
the performance was good. And i'm proud of my team(cpr).
I guess i have lots of stuff i've been thinking about since this collaboration. it has really opened my eyes and i've learnt alot of things.. really alot.

Collaboration is NOT easy..
Seriously, it isnt... to think of 2 grps who have their own goals, frens and way of management coming to work together is kinda scary. frictions occurred over and over... it almost came to the point where we burst into flames... tough fight mann..
Aside from our differences, we also faced the problem of communication.. being in a big grp (16 ppl) it took alot of courage to voice an opinion ok. and of cos the huge 16 was split into their own cliques... sad cos i was thinking like why cant we just all stay together?? the minute one clique is formed, more will start.

looking abck on our whole journey to the now i really feel like giving everyone a pat on the back. first big HOOHAA was one of the guys from the other team quiting. then it was a girl from RHR. and then corn.. wao. 3 ppl quit. can yu believe it? in just 3 weeks, 3 ppl quit... the whole incident bout me not letting vera quit kinda tot me something... if the person doesnt wanna stay, making her stay will not do any good as well.. her prob is yet to be solved. we're all just sitting on it now. haha. it also made me reflect on my leadership role.. ok. so i found out i wasnt tt good a leader. they called my hitler. -.- yea. it hurt. but i'm over it now... it made me a stronger person.. Talking about stronger person, this girl cries alot in my grp. should i think of it as weak? or as active tear glands? haha. pls enlighten me...

On the good side of this collaboration, of cos i wanna shout out loud that i've made more new frens and have bonded closely with them.. its great to know that now i have more frens whom i can trust.. Actually eevrything in this soka performance is a good thing. every bad thing was a GOOD lesson for me. haha how optimistic can meichin get mann. -.-

i guess i've stepped up one more level in becoming a lady. =) wil post again, with pictures and video! mean while, i gotta go for my musical rehearsal. bye!~

tough times... its gonna be like tt for the next 2 weeks.

anywae, wanna sharw with you guys a dance competition i went to see recently..
Erm its called Suntec dance. Quite a huge event every year.. and its tough cos there are like many audition rounds and still have to fight your way to the finals.

My schools team made it! yay! cheers to them. though they didnt win, i still tot they were the best few. =)

its superb considering they only did it 4 DAYS BEFORE the competition.
Alrights, here's the winners.
they'll get to represent singapore and go to melbourne to fight at the battlegrounds competition



its quite shocking tt they won cos they used the exact same choreo for the semi finals. EXACT.
but they are good.. no one can deny that. =)

and last of all, here's the group that we all wanted to win.

but the snychro is OMG. haha superb.

actually in that case i think my sch could won. cos if they didnt go spend time and make a new choreo then maybe they could have made their old one better. and the old one had strong creativity also. check it out

BACK! i suppose to continue about my batam trip. heh.

DAY 2
Woke up at like 9? then had breakfast and we took a free shuttle to NAGOYA HILL. its one of the biggest shopping centre in batam. SHOPPING! yay... eh. actually ok only la. cos not say very cheap also. almost the same price at singapore. erm. lets see... i bought 3 necklace for myself... 3 for my sister. 2 t shirts for me and 1 for my sis. oh. and hair oil for my ah mah. =) tts all... so little right?
we went for massage too. 12 sing dollars only. and it was much better then the hotel one. only thing the ambience and service not tt good la. my massue keep burbing can? wa lao. no manners lo.... and she does it openly.. eeww man.
Later at night we had seafood dinner by the sea. it was really nice. the wind, the sea smell. and of cos fresh seafood. yum yum.. my mum paid for everyone. it was a treat. i heart pain for her sia. 1.9mil!!!!!!!! (RP) hahahha. about 300 sing? still alot. but we had like 6 dishes and there were 3 tables. so its still cheap i guess. wen we went back i totally K.O. super tired..

bryan came back from japan already. =DD he's choreo today was awesome. i really liked it. =D

ok. the not so good part is the choreo really strained my back.
and some how wen dad measured my blood pressure for me, it ended up being my heart beat which was highlighted.
110 beatd per min. its like you're jogging slow speed.
but the thing is i had already bathed, settled down and was watching tv.
dad's kinda worried. he say cos your heartbeat should be 70-90 wen resting and mine was 110.
i'm going to see doctor AGAIN tmr..

from the 3 days at batam.
hhhmmm.... i would say the trip was fairly ok??
ok cos we encountered quite a few probs there.

Day 1
Arrived at the hotel. guess wat?haha their looby and restautrants are not air conditioned. how rare is that in hotels. plus it was a smoking ALLOWED area. everyone smokes openly mann. sticko. After we checked in and stuff, we went for lunch outside the hotel. we spent quite sometime finding a plce to eat cos we were all clueless. it was like the blind leading the blindS. After lunch we went to rackey the hotel and then they signed up for the activities. my mum me and a few other stuff were more into relaxing. so we decided to go for massage. =) the thing about batam is that the hotel charges everything in SING dollars not RP. -.- and its not as cheap of cos. they mark up the price so much.its obvious. anywae its still a little cheaper then singapore price. The worst problem we met with throughout the 3 days were most ppl there do not know how to speak english. there was like super communication break down. yea. tts the main thing which caused most of the unhappiness. they seriously cant speak english. i mean it.
